Decision month for December. The EST window closes Mon 16 Nov at 22:00 and the SAT deadline is Fri 20 Nov. Choose EST II or the ACT for Sat 12 Dec: you can't sit both.

EST I and II (projected 22–23 Jan) are the first test days of the year, and the ACT deadline is the same Friday. Use the second half of the month to start the March SAT cycle.

The SAT on 6 March and EST I and II (projected 26–27 Mar) are three weeks apart. A strong month for students taking both routes.

No clash this April: the ACT runs alone on 10 Apr. The May EST window (projected 6–26 Apr) and the SAT May deadline (16 Apr) make this a registration month.

Which exam does a student need?

RequirementWhat satisfies it
The first exam
Required of every American Diploma student		 Digital SAT (min. 1050), or EST I, or ACT, weighted at 60% of the equivalent total
Subject tests
Practical and scientific faculties		 SAT 2 or EST II: two subjects from Math Level 1 & 2, Biology, Physics, Chemistry (min. 1100). Not every subject runs in every EST session.
ACT A single composite sitting covering English, Math, Reading, Science and Writing. There is no separate ACT subject-test day, so a student on the ACT route sits one exam, not two.
National identity
Arabic and History		 Ministry-administered examinations, not on this calendar. They carry 20% of the diploma total.

Every official 2026 EST session followed one rule: registration opened on a Tuesday 45 days before EST I, stayed open 20 days and closed on a Monday 25 days before EST I. The 2027 sessions are projected with that rule. Confirm each against the official EST calendar before paying a registration fee.

Digital SAT and ACT dates are the published ones. ACT deadlines are the national deadlines; international registration closes about four weeks before the test, so register earlier.
